In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the company Flechtech Sarl presented to the administrative authorities, last July, the earliest tablets and smartphones designed in the country. Motema baptized, these units have bags with integrated solar panels.
Dieudonné Kayembe, director of the company and figurehead of the digital ecosystem in the country, says it is in order to make the latest technology available in the DRC while solving particular problems associated with the management of digital devices he started with his team this project.
Present at the ceremony, Daniel Madimba Kalonji, Minister of Scientific and Technological Research of the DRC pledged to support product development by saying “I have the determination to create a new era with you, to boost scientific research so that it truly playing its role as an engine of economic and social development of our country. ”
Smartphones and tablets Motema were launched the following month in August and create much enthusiasm among the population. Flechtech Sarl has recently developed a series of mobile applications that fit into the logic of solving the educational, linguistic and cultural problems.
